# Sign in and sign out

> Open the dashboard, finish sign-in, and sign out safely.

## Sign in

1. Go to your organization’s dashboard URL (often **app.arterial.us** or a URL your administrator gave you).
2. Enter your **email** and **password**.
3. Submit the form.

If your workspace requires **two-factor authentication**, you will be sent to a verification step after the password succeeds. See [MFA](/account/mfa).

## Forgot password from the login screen

On the login page, use **Forgot password?** to start recovery. See [Password reset and recovery](/account/password-recovery).

## Sign out

1. Click your **profile** button in the top bar (user icon).
2. Choose **Sign out**.

You can also open **Settings** from the same menu if you need account or security options.

## If sign-in fails

* Check caps lock and your email spelling.
* Try password recovery if you forgot the password.
* If you never received an invite, ask a workspace administrator to invite you.
